Sugarfree chocolate pecan pie, this is a delicious variation of our low carb pecan pie. This pecan pie is easy to make, full of flavor, and delightfully creamy! A regular pecan pie is typically made with a shortcrust pastry base. However, this pecan pie features a unique combination of pecans, dark chocolate, and a brownie crust. Moreover, it tastes absolutely divine. For the sugarfree crust, we used Steviala Kristal Sweet Vanilla. Intrigued? Don't wait any longer and quickly read the recipe!

Ingredients

Sugarfree chocolate pecan pie

  • 150 gram Steviala almond flour
  • 50 ml low fat or plant-based milk (unsweetened)
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 4 tablespoons Steviala Kristal Sweet Vanilla

Sugarfree chocolate pecan pie filling

  • 200 grams light cream cheese
  • 200 grams mild French yoghurt
  • 120 grams egg whites (+/- 4 eggs)
  • 100 grams Steviala Dark Chocolate Melties
  • 2 teaspoons Steviala chocolate drops

Topping for sugarfree chocolate pecan pie

  • 150 grams of pecans

Preparation

Making the sugarfree pecan pie

First, preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Then, soak the pecans in lukewarm water to prevent them from burning in the oven. Then grease your pie pan with butter or line it with parchment paper. You then mix all the ingredients for the crust until they form a sticky mixture. Furthermore, spread the mixture evenly over the pie crust and bake it in the oven for 20 minutes.

Next, place a saucepan over low heat. Melt the chocolate in the saucepan while stirring continuously. But be careful not to let the chocolate burn! Alternatively, you can melt the chocolate using the double boiler method. Furthermore, separate the egg whites from the eggs. Then, combine the ingredients for the filling in a bowl and mix until you have a smooth batter. Meanwhile, remove the pie pan from the oven and pour the batter over the crust. Top it with pecans. Then place the pie back in the oven for an additional 60 minutes. At last, remove the pie from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Now, you can enjoy a delicious sugarfree pecan pie!

    Gisteren heb ik deze heerlijke pie gemaakt! Het is een makkelijk te maken recept. Alleen mijn pecannoten verdwenen gelijk naar beneden. Ik heb de pie toen zonder pecannoten 10 min in de oven gedaan. Daarna de pecannoten erop gedaan en toen bleven ze beter liggen. Toen ik de taart eruit haalde waren de pecannoten verder omhoog gekomen en zag de taart er heel mooi uit. Ik heb de taart afgemaakt met lekker veel Oh’Choc bovenop en dat maakt deze al lekkere pie nog lekkerder. Thnx voor dit heerlijke recept!!
