It is a low carb gingerbread cake. It smells and tastes like gingerbread, and has the structure of a soft and creamy cake. The gingerbread cake is sugar free because of the use of the sugar substitute Steviala Kristal Sweet. And look at those nutritional values! One slice of this gingerbread cake is only 1.9 grams of carbs. Try to stay away from this, it is impossible!


Low carb gingerbread cake

  • 115 grams butter
  • 175 gram mascarpone cheese
  • 85 grams Steviala Kristal Sweet
  • 4 eggs
  • 175 grams Steviala almond flour
  • 8 grams baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon gingbread spices
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder

Preparation method

Baking low carb gingerbread cake

First, preheat the oven to 175 degrees celsius. Then you whip the butter together with the mascarpone cheese and Kristal Sweet until it has a creamy consistency. Hereafter you add all the other ingredients. Keep whipping until it becomes a smooth batter.

Pour the batter into a baking tin and bake the low carb gingerbread for 50 minutes in the oven.

Let the gingerbread cake cool down outside of the oven. Sprinkle some Steviala Frost over the gingerbread cake. You can store the gingerbread cake by covering it with aluminium foil and placing it in the fridge.
