Preparation
Making Puff Pastry Mummies
This will be one of the easiest recipes on steviala.eu! First, preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius (even though puff pastry is often baked at 200 degrees). Start by making the white chocolate eyes. Melt the white chocolate and create small discs on baking paper. Place these in the refrigerator to allow the chocolate to harden.
Cut 5 squares from the puff pastry. Then, distribute the Steviala Oh' Choc! and Steviala Supreme Strawberry on top of each square. Cut the remaining puff pastry into strips (the same width as the squares) and place them over the square.
Press the sides of the puff pastry together with a fork. Finally, brush the puff pastry mummies with egg. This will give the puff pastry a beautiful, glossy golden-brown color.
Place the puff pastry mummies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the puff pastry mummies until they begin to turn a nice brown color. This can take about 20 to 30 minutes since we are baking the puff pastry bites at a lower temperature. Finally, let the puff pastry bites cool.
To finish, add the white chocolate eyes to the puff pastry mummies. Then, use a skewer and some Steviala Oh' Choc! to add the dots to the eyes. Now, you can enjoy this Halloween recipe!
