Unfortunately, the 'real' Ferrero Rochers are high in sugars and do not fit into a sugar-free and/or carb reduced lifestyle. Ingredients

Sugarfree and carb reduced Ferrero Rocher

  • 200 grams Steviala Dark Chocolate Melties
  • 100 ml (plant-based) milk
  • 150 grams (sugarfree) hazelnut spread
  • pinch of salt
  • 100 grams chopped hazelnuts
  • 20 whole hazelnuts

Preparation

Making sugarfree and carb reduced Ferrero Rochers

Start by heating the milk first, then add the (sugar-free) hazelnut spread. Mix this well until you have an even mixture. Then take a mixing bowl and add the Steviala Dark Chocolate Melties. Then pour the hot milk into the Dark Chocolate Melties and leave it for 2 minutes. You then stir this until you obtain an even ganache. Cover the mixing bowl with plastic foil and put it in the fridge for at least 4 hours.

Meanwhile, chop the hazelnuts into small pieces and add this to a bowl. Then cut 20 pieces from the chocolate hazelnut ganache. Then press 1 whole hazelnut into each piece of ganache and form a nice little ball of this. Next, roll the Ferrero Rocher through the chopped hazelnuts and then place it on a plate. Lo and behold, the sugarfree and carb reduced Ferrero Rochers are ready!

  • You can store the sugarfree and carb reduced Ferrero Rocher for up to 7 days in the fridge.
