Low carb donuts
Low carb donuts
These low carb donuts may not taste exactly like regular donuts, but they come pretty close! Moreover, these sugarfree donuts are quick to make and require only a few ingredients. Not only are these low carb donuts delicious, but they also fit within a sugar-free diet! These donuts are sweetened with Steviala Kristal Sweet, which is twice as sweet as sugar. It is a sugar substitute based on erythritol and sweetener from Stevia. Erythritol is 100% natural and occurs in limited amounts in some fruits. Additionally, it contains no carbohydrates that impact blood sugar levels, making Steviala suitable for those who need to be mindful of their diet, such as individuals with diabetes.

Preparation
Making low carb donuts
Preheat the oven to 150°C or use your Tefal Snack Collection and preheat it. Melt the butter over low heat in a saucepan. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter with the remaining ingredients and mix well. Distribute the mixture into a silicone mini donut mold and bake the donuts for 30 minutes in the oven or cook them in batches of 6 in the Tefal Snack Collection. Remove them from the oven and let the donuts cool in the mold. Decorate them with a sugarfree glaze of your choice.
Making sugarfree glaze
Melt the Steviala dark chocolate chips using a double boiler. Dip your sugarfree and low carb donuts into the melted chocolate. You can also add chopped nuts of your choice.
Other glaze ideas
Mix 1 tablespoon mascarpone, 1 tablespoon cream cheese, and 1 tablespoon heavy cream. Add Steviala Frost sugarfree powdered sugar until you achieve the desired glaze (texture and taste).
Mix 1 tablespoon heavy cream and 2 tablespoons sugar-free blueberry jam until you have a smooth sugarfree glaze. Top some donuts with finely chopped walnuts.
Feel free to combine different sugarfree glazes. For example, apply glaze 1 to a mini donut, followed by a bit of glaze 2. Then take a skewer and swirl the glazes together. The result: a donut that not only looks fantastic but also tastes amazing. Experiment with different jams, types of chocolate, and toppings according to your preferences!
