Ingredients
Sugarfree chocolate bonbons with strawberry
- 50 grams butter
- 1 tablespoon Steviala 2 Sweet sugar substitute
- 50 grams Steviala Supreme Strawberry
- a few strawberries chopped into small pieces
- 100 ml whipping cream
- 100 grams Steviala milk chocolate or dark chocolate Melties
Sugarfree topping
- 1 tablespoon Steviala Frost powdered sugar substitute
- 1 tablespoon water
- optional: red food coloring
Baking supplies
- 2 saucepans
- whisk
- an ice cube mold or 10 round bonbon molds
- freezer
Preparation
Making sugarfree chocolate bonbons with strawberry
Take a saucepan and melt the butter. Add the Steviala Supreme Strawberry, Steviala 2 Sweet and any coloring and stir well. Then add in the whipping cream. Next, keep stirring continuously well until the filling begins to thicken a bit. See, your sugarfree strawberry filling is ready! Then turn off the heat and start working on the sugarfree chocolate layer.
First, melt the Steviala milk chocolate or Dark chocolate according to the au-bain-marie method. Then take the molds and spread the chocolate in the molds. Then put them in the freezer for 15 minutes. You then take them out of the freezer and fill them with the delicious strawberry filling. Finally, add some small pieces of chopped fresh strawberries and now put them in the freezer for 1 hour. Take them out again and now seal the chocolate bonbon completely with the rest of the melted chocolate. Once the chocolate has hardened, remove them from the mold.
Making sugarfree topping
Next, mix 1 tablespoon Steviala Frost with food coloring and 1 tablespoon water. Use this to create a fun little fantasy on the top of the bonbons, if desired! And enjoy!
