And then we haven't even mentioned the smell that comes from your oven as soon as you prepare this breakfast. Even the longest sleepers get out of bed for this, believe us! Serve this healthy apple crumble with some sweet yoghurt or quark and finish it with Steviala Caramel Crush salted caramel sauce. A breakfast to enjoy!

Healthy apple crumble filling

  • 3 apples (about 500 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon or gingerbread spices
  • 50 grams Steviala Ery-Bronze

Healthy crumble layer

  • 150 grams whole wheat flour
  • 50 grams Steviala Kristal Sweet
  • 80 grams butter or plant-based butter (at room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon or gingerbread spices
  • 30 grams of oatmeal
  • splash of water
  • 20 grams of walnuts
  • 20 grams of pecan nuts

Serving tips

  • 150 grams of yoghurt with Steviala Frost to taste
  • Steviala Caramel Crush of Heavenly Dark
  • Sugarfree whipped cream
  • Sugarfree vanilla ice cream

Making healthy apple crumble

First, start by preheating the oven to 190 degrees. Then cut 3 apples into cubes and add them to a large mixing bowl. Add the Steviala Ery-Bronze and cinnamon to this and mix well. Then divide the apple cubes in a large baking dish. Set this aside.

Then get another mixing bowl. Add the whole wheat flour, Steviala Kristal Sweet, oatmeal and cinnamon. Then cut the butter into small cubes and add this too. Then knead it with your hands into coarse crumbs. In addition, add a splash of water if needed to help the crumbs stick better.

Then divide the crumbs over the apple cubes. Finally, add chopped walnuts and pecans over the crumb topping. Then place the baking dish in the oven for about 30 to 45 minutes or until the crumb layer is nicely browned and the apple has become nice and soft.

Let this cool down for a while. At last, serve the healthy apple crumble with some sweetened quark or yoghurt and Steviala Caramel Crush. Enjoy your dinner!
