  • round springform 4 x 10 cm or 2 x 18 cm
  • baking sheet
  • oven
  • spatula

Preparation

Making a lowcarb vanilla choco strawberry tart

Preheat the oven to 175 C°. Then take the two larger springforms or four smaller springforms and cover them with baking paper.

Put the eggs and the Steviala Kristal Sweet in the food processor and then mix them on high speed for 10 minutes. Then mix the almond flour with the baking powder and add half of the egg mixture. Then stir this lightly, and then add the melted butter. Mix this too into a fluffy mixture. Finally, blend in the last part of the egg mixture.

Then divide the mixture in the 2 springforms. Then it's time to place the sponge cake in the oven for 15 to 18 minutes. The sponge cake is ready when it is nicely golden brown. Then let the sponge cake cool outside the oven and continue with the next steps for the lowcarb vanilla choco strawberry tart.

Making vanilla and chocolate mousse

Next combine all the ingredients for the vanilla mousse in a mixing bowl and mix until creamy. Do the same in another mixing bowl with the chocolate mousse.

Now start stacking the lowcarb vanilla choco strawberry tart. This is most conveniently done in the springform pan itself. Cover the sides with baking paper. Then place the sponge cake on the bottom. Now, cut the strawberries in half and place them against the sides of the springform. Next, spread the vanilla mousse over the sponge cake. Then place the next sponge cake on top and press it a bit tight. Then spread another chocolate mousse on top. You are now done stacking your lowcarb vanilla choco strawberry tart. If you chose the 4 x10 cm springforms, repeat these steps again. Finally, you can choose to sprinkle chopped Steviala Dark Chocolate Melties on top.

Serve the lowcarb vanilla choco strawberry tart the same day. Because the moisture from the strawberries can cause to soften the sponge cake. Enjoy!
