Ingredients
Sugarfree coconut lemon waffles
- 1 egg
- 40 grams Steviala coconut flour
- 10 grams Steviala Sweet & Vanilla
- 75 grams quark or Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest + 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Baking supplies
- mixing bowl
- waffle iron
- baking spray or oil to grease the waffle iron
Preparation
Making sugarfree coconut lemon waffles
First, beat the egg in a bowl and then add the Sweet & Vanilla. Afterwards, also add the quark, lemon juice and zest. Lastly, add the coconut flour and baking powder. Then knead it into a dough ball. Divide this dough ball into 10 equal pieces and roll small balls from them. Next, heat oil or baking spray in the waffle iron and fry the waffles one by one. Be careful, the waffles remain a little light in color because of the coconut flour. When the top is golden brown they are good! Finally, you can serve these delicious sugarfree coconut lemon waffles with your favorite toppings, such as fresh fruit or, for example, the Steviala Sweet & Vanilla.
