  • mixing bowl
  • hand mixer
  • oven
  • saucepan
  • whisk
  • kitchen scale

Preparation

Making low carb and sugarfree vanilla custard tarts

Start by preheating the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Then, melt the butter. In a mixing bowl, add the almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, Steviala Kristal Sweet, salt, and cinnamon. Melt the butter in a small saucepan or a microwave-safe bowl. Add it to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly. Then, beat one egg and add half of it to the tart crust. Mix until smooth. Grease the tart molds and distribute the dough. Then, prick holes in the bottom with a fork. Finally, brush the bottoms with the other half of the egg. Bake the crusts in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Then, let them cool outside the oven.

Making sugarfree vanilla custard

Meanwhile, make the sugarfree vanilla custard. First, add the lactose-free or almond milk and heavy cream to a saucepan. Heat it on medium-high heat. In a separate bowl, separate the two eggs and mix the egg yolks with the two whole eggs. Add Steviala Frost and Steviala Vanilla Custard drops and stir well. Slowly pour this mixture into the milk and cream, stirring with a whisk until the vanilla custard thickens. Then, pour the sugarfree vanilla custard into a bowl and let it cool. Finally, top the sugarfree custard tarts with your choice of toppings, such as your favorite fruit or Steviala Dark chocolate chips.
