  • 4 cups

Preparation

Making low carb strawberry panna cotta

Making this low carb strawberry panna cotta is pretty easy, you just need a little patience. In a measuring cup, mix the whipping cream, Steviala Frost and vanilla extract. Mix this together well. Then divide this between 2 bowls. Then you start with the strawberry layer. Mash the strawberries and add the Steviala Supreme Strawberry and lemon juice to this. Stir this well. Then divide the strawberry sauce between 2 bowls.

Then get started with the different layers of this low carb strawberry panna cotta. Soak 1.5 gelatin sheets for 10 minutes in a bowl of cold water. Take the first bowl of strawberry sauce and heat it up in a sauce pan. Then add the soaked gelatin sheets and let them melt in the warm strawberry sauce and stir well.  You then pour the first strawberry layer into 2 glasses. Then place the glasses in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

After 2 hours, repeat this process with the first bowl with the whipping cream layer. Soak 1.5 gelatin sheets for 10 minutes and then melt them in the warmed whipping cream. Then pour this over the strawberries layer and place the glasses back in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Repeat for the remaining strawberries and whipping cream layers, waiting 1 hour each time so that the layers stiffen properly in the refrigerator. Serve the low carb strawberry panna cotta with a dollop of whipped cream, more Steviala Supreme Strawberry and a fresh strawberry.
