These sugarfree apple caramel donuts are a delicious treat to enjoy with coffee or tea! With this easy recipe, you can have deliciously sweet donuts with homemade caramel topping on the table in just half an hour. In addition, each large donut contains 4 grams of carbohydrates. Sugarfree apple caramel donuts

  • 150 grams almond flour
  • 50 grams Steviala 2 Sweet
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 30 grams melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • pinch of salt
  • 100 grams apple (or 100 grams zucchini + Steviala apple drops)
  • pinch of cinnamon

Sugarfree caramel sauce

  • 15 grams butter
  • 30 grams Steviala Heavenly Dark
  • 30 grams Steviala Ery-Bronze
  • 50 ml + 1 tablespoon whipping cream

Baking supplies

  • Tefal Snack Collection with donut or bagel plates (or silicone donut mold)


Making sugarfree apple caramel donuts

Start by preparing the donut batter. First, mix the almond flour, Steviala 2 Sweet, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Then, add the eggs one by one and mix well. Next, add the vanilla extract, melted butter, and lemon juice. Then mix until the batter is smooth.

Next, cut the apple into small pieces. Sprinkle some cinnamon on top of the apple. Then, mix the apple pieces into the donut batter. In addition, want even fewer carbs? Then use zucchini with Steviala apple drops instead.

Next, turn on the Tefal Snack Collection with the donut or bagel plates. Wait until the light turns green. Don't have this handy device? Then preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius and distribute the donut batter into a silicone donut mold. You then bake the donuts until they turn a nice brown color.

Making sugarfree caramel sauce

Meanwhile, make the sugarfree caramel sauce. First, melt the butter over low heat. Then, add Steviala Heavenly Dark, Steviala Ery-Bronze, and 50 ml whipping cream. Next, let this thicken over medium-high heat while stirring with a whisk. When the caramel sauce starts to thicken, turn off the heat and add another tablespoon of whipping cream. Let the sugarfree caramel sauce cool completely.

Finally, spread the sugarfree caramel sauce over the donuts and top with chopped pecans. Enjoy!
