Healthy breakfast is made with these sugarfree breakfast muffins with chocolate and berries. Completely sugarfree with Steviala's sugar substitutes.

Making these sugarfree breakfast muffins is super easy and can easily be done the night before. This way, you won't have any stress in the morning! These muffins are also ideal for meal prep. Store them in an airtight container and have breakfast ready for the upcoming days.

These sugarfree breakfast muffins are deliciously sweet! Why is that? Because of the use of our Steviala Kristal Sweet. This is a sugar substitute based on sweetener from Stevia.

Sugarfree breakfast muffins

  • 125 grams oats
  • 125 grams whole wheat flour or almond flour
  • 50 grams Steviala Kristal Sweet
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 150 ml (plant-based) milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 200 grams frozen berries
  • 50 grams Steviala Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 20 grams sliced almonds
  • 10 grams Steviala Ery-Bronze

Baking supplies

  • cupcake baking tin
  • mixing bowl
  • spatula
  • ice cream scoop

Making sugarfree breakfast muffins

Start by preheating the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Then take a large mixing bowl and add whole wheat flour (or almond flour), oats, baking powder, Kristal Sweet, cinnamon, and salt. Mix this well first.

Then add the vanilla extract, milk, and egg. Mix until it forms a smooth batter. Finally, add the Steviala Dark Chocolate Chips and frozen berries. Save some of the Dark Chocolate Chips and berries for the topping. Mix this again thoroughly.

Grease a cupcake baking tin with oil, melted butter, or baking spray. Then distribute the sugarfree breakfast muffin batter in the cupcake baking tin. We used an ice cream scoop for this. It's a bit easier. Finally, distribute the remaining Dark Chocolate Chips, berries, sliced almonds, and Steviala Ery-Bronze as toppings.

Place the cupcakes in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Let the cupcakes cool before removing them from the baking tin. Enjoy!
