Before you can make the sugarfree spiced nuts truffles, you first need to bake the spiced nuts yourself. For this, we will use this recipe for sugarfree and low carb spiced nuts. - 1x recipe for sugarfree and low carb kruidnoten
- 100 grams of Monchou cream cheese
- 100 grams of Steviala Milk Chocolate Melties

Preparation
Making sugarfree spiced nuts
First, start by making the sugarfree spiced nuts. You can make the batter for the spiced nuts using a food processor, or you can choose to knead the dough with your hands. Then, make the spiced nuts as described in the recipe.
Making sugarfree spiced nuts truffles
Once the spiced nuts have cooled completely and become nice and crispy, you can proceed with making the sugarfree spiced nuts truffles. First, crumble the spiced nuts. You can do this using a food processor. Alternatively, place the spiced nuts in a plastic bag and hit it hard a few times with a rolling pin. Set aside 15 spiced nuts for garnishing.
Add the spiced nuts crumbs to a bowl and then add the cream cheese. Mix them together well. Then, shape the mixture into small balls. If the mixture is too sticky, it's best to wet your hands slightly. Place the kruidnoot truffles on a plate and let them firm up in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Lastly, you will work on the chocolate coating. For this, melt the Steviala Milk and Dark Chocolate Melties using the double boiler method. Fill a saucepan with hot water and place a heat-resistant bowl on top. Set the heat to low. First, add the Steviala Milk Chocolate Melties to the bowl and let them melt slowly. Stir well while melting to prevent the chocolate from burning. Once the chocolate has melted, dip each kruidnoot truffle into the chocolate one by one. Repeat the process using the Steviala Dark Chocolate Melties.
Finally, top each truffle with a spiced nuts. Place the sugarfree spiced nuts truffles on a plate lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. After that, you can indulge in these incredibly delicious sugarfree spiced nuts truffles!
