You can make tasty sugarfree lowcarb syrup waffles by yourself! These sugarfree syrup waffles are sweetened with Steviala Kristal Sweet, a granulated sugar substitute without the addition of any other sugars such as Molasses. You make these low carb syrup waffles using a kitchen machine. It takes a little practice, but once you get the hang of it then you will make the most delicious syrup waffles yourself!

Ingredients

Sugarfree lowcarb syrup waffles

  • 50 ml lukewarm milk
  • 7 grams instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon inulin
  • 250 grams almond flour
  • 50 grams wheat gluten
  • 100 grams butter (at room temperature)
  • 50 grams Steviala Kristal Sweet
  • 1 egg (at room temperature)
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of cinnamon

Sugarfree caramel sauce

  • 50 grams Steviala Caramel Crush
  • 50 grams Steviala Heavenly Dark

Baking supplies

  • mixing bowl
  • spatula
  • syrup waffle iron

Preparation

Making sugarfree lowcarb syrup waffles

First, start by preparing the sugarfree low carb syrup waffles batter. Heat the milk to no more than 40 degrees. You then add in the instant yeast and inulin and stir with a whisk. Then put this in a warm place for 15 minutes so the yeast will work. Then grab a large mixing bowl and add in the almond flour, wheat gluten, Steviala Kristal Sweet, salt and cinnamon. Next, mix this well. Then add the room-temperature butter in cubes, along with the egg and yeast mixture. You then knead this into a firm batter. Then place a tea towel over the mixing bowl and place the mixing bowl in a warm place for 30 minutes.

Then heat a bundt waffle iron and grease it well. Make 15 balls of the batter and bake the sugarfree lowcarb syrup waffles one at a time in the waffle iron.

Making sugarfree caramel syrup

Meanwhile, mix the Steviala Caramel Crush and Heavenly Dark in a small bowl. If you manage, you can cut the syrup waffles in half and then fill them with the caramel syrup. Don't they come out of the waffle iron so nicely? Then of course you can also spread some caramel syrup over a whole syrup waffle and place a second syrup waffle on top. Just as tasty!
