Making sugarfree cake is not that difficult and does not take much time. This is a delicious cake with delicious sweetener from Stevia, suitable for diabetics and also fits into a low carb diet! With the sugar substitute Steviala Kristal Sweet, you can easily bake this sugarfree cake with almonds. And another additional advantage: this sugarfree cake with Steviala almond flour is also low in carbohydrates, so it will have a limited impact on blood sugar levels. Overall, this sugarfree cake contains +/- 12 grams of carbohydrates and contains no added sugars at all.

Ingredients

  • 160 grams of Steviala almond flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 50 grams unsalted butter
  • 125 grams cream cheese
  • 50 grams Steviala Ery-Pure
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • shaved almonds

Preparation

Making low carb sugarfree cake

First, preheat your convection oven to 170 C°. Make sure the cream cheese and butter are at room temperature when you start the recipe. Now add the butter, cream cheese, Steviala Ery-Pure, cinnamon to a bowl and beat with a mixer until smooth. While mixing this, add the eggs to the bowl one by one. Next, mix together the almond flour, baking powder and pinch of salt in a separate bowl. Then add this to the bowl with the eggs and mix well until you have a smooth batter.

Then line a 22 cm cake tin with baking paper and pour the batter into the tin. You then bake the cake for 35 to 40 minutes.

Top your sugarfree cake with shaved almonds and enjoy!

Note: I also added sugarfree blueberry jam with sweetener from Stevia to the top of the cake, but you don't have to!

    De titel zegt het al: Gewoon een lekkere, simpele, makkelijk te maken, smeuïge basis cake die kha en suikervrij is. Heb de cake al een paar keer gemaakt. I.p.v de Kristal Sweet heb ik Erythritol gebruikt. Lekker gewoon zo een plak of met wat aardbeitjes en slagroom of de Suprème Strawberry, etc….
