Low carb coconut flour is made from coconuts. It is 100% pure coconut. Therefore, it is high in protein, low in carbs and high in fibre. Baking with coconut flour

Coconut flour is made from fresh and pure coconut. The coconut milk is extracted from the coconut so that the solid pieces remain. This coconut is then dried at a low temperature. It is then ground to a fine, soft powder that is ideal for baking. However, do not use it like regular flour.

Low carb coconut flour is highly absorbent. You only need very little for a good recipe. When you use too much, your recipe can turn out too dry.

It does not have the same baking characteristics as regular flour. In regular recipes, you can replace plain flour with a quarter or 1/3 of coconut flour. You also have to increase the number of eggs you use. However, it can be replaced 1 to 1 when binding sauces.
